Food Pantry Garden

Each year one large garden bed is dedicated as a food pantry garden and all produce grown there is donated to local food pantries. Twice a week throughout the growing season volunteers pick the ripe produce from the garden and deliver it. Additionally, garden members donate vegetables from their own garden beds when they have an abundance. Last year over 95 lbs of fresh produce was donated.

If you are interested in volunteering to collect produce and/or you want to find out about donating your extra produce, please contact our board member, Gloria Story, who coordinates the Food Pantry garden.
